So Many Cookies, So Little Time
You can’t match the excitement of opening the door and seeing the UPS man holding the perfect size cardboard box with the Carol’s Cookies label on it. You know it’s your favorite gourmet cookie gifts. Maybe you’ve received 8 of our handmade 6-ounce cookies, but maybe you were lucky and received the full dozen as a gift. Or, maybe it was a box full of 30 of our handmade mini cookie. Regardless, since Carol’s believes “more is more,” it might be too many cookies to devour in the next couple days. So, what can you do to make sure no crumb is wasted?
If you aren’t going to be eating all the cookies within the next 48 hours after arrival- you can just simply put the extra cookies in the freezer. When you’re ready to enjoy your next Carol’s cookie – simply defrost them by leaving them out at room temperature for approximately 2 hours. If your plans change, it’s easy enough to refreeze our cookies and they can be refrozen twice before they start to lose their moistness. This is preferable over storing them in the refrigerator as that can make our cookies dry.
